Tussahaw Water Treatment Plant/Jackson, GA/Spring 2004 This project allowed ACG to demonstrate our technical capabilities with the installation of 6,000 lf of 48” restrained joint DIP for supply to the treatment tanks. Additionally, ACG was contracted to provide backfilling and compaction of 11,000 cy of dirt at the pump station site. This backfilling was conducted in 1 vf increments and compaction met 95% of proctor requirements. ACG was also contracted to provide the relocation of the existing 8” water mainline currently servicing several existing neighborhoods located around the new water treatment facility. Relocation, dry tapping and extension of the line was conducted by ACG and passed all pressure testing and standards required by Henry County Water and Sewer Authority. ACG was also the recipient of the “Quality and Control” Award given by the project owners and presented by Winter Construction Company, Inc.
